Not only does Vacutech engineer and manufacture the world’s most powerful vacuum systems, we also know how to plan and build a lean, mean, beautiful “race car.”
We’re honored to announce that our team took home the Best Design award in the recent Beds Along the Bighorns race. The annual race is one of the community events tied to the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, which is hosted each year in Vacutech’s hometown of Sheridan, Wyoming. Teams create their own “race cars” that must include a bed frame, then see who can push them down Main Street the fastest.
Our team brought the same level of engineering and manufacturing prowess to the bed racer that it delivers each day to the central vacuum systems we make for our customers. We know that teamwork is integral to what we do, so each person at Vacutech signed the racer before it headed downtown for the event.
We’d hoped to also bring home the award for fastest racer, but a tire blowout meant that wasn’t the case. It turns out that the tires we purchased just weren’t as Vacutech tough as the equipment we make ourselves! Nonetheless, we’re proud of our entire team who worked to design, build, and run this beautiful racer.
